Board of Directors 

Kadene McPherson M.B.A., B.B.A. (Hons.)

Managing Director

​

Kadene McPherson is the Founder and Managing Director of K. Mc & Associates Marketing Solutions.  At the core of her career is serving businesses seeking marketing solutions to impact their underserved markets. She possesses strong expertise in developing and implementing Marketing Strategies in order to build brand awareness and influence the perception of a top of mind while maintaining cost-efficiency in budget management.

 

Ms. McPherson has over 10 years’ experience in various facets of marketing to include Campaign Management, Product Development, Corporate Affairs, Digital Marketing, Project Management, and Market Expansion to name a few. She is highly experienced in marketing multiple brands through her work with several groups of companies in the communication, entertainment and financial industries. Ms. McPherson holds a Masters degree in Business Administration in Marketing from the Mona School of Business & Management, the University of the West Indies and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the University of Technology. Ms. McPherson has also obtained, through Continuous Professional Development Training, certifications in Business Communication as well as in Project Management.

 

Ms. McPherson is currently a Lecturer of Digital Marketing and Creative Trainer for Project Management for Creatives at the iCreate Institute. She has served as the Chairperson for the Public Relations and Communications Committee of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica and the Development of Competency Standards and Qualification Plan for NVQ Level 4 in Digital Marketing in the Business Service Industry for HEART Trust NTA National Council on Technical & Vocational Education & Training. She has also facilitated several programmes for the HEART Trust NTA.

 

Ms. McPherson considers herself to be a vibrant solution-oriented marketer, who is a highly resourceful and self-motivated individual.

 

Stephen Davidson, MBA, BSc (Hons)

Chairman 

 

Stephen Davidson is currently the Director, Public Relations and Communications at the Ministry of Health. Mr. Davidson is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) UWI .Mr. Davidson has served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) an agency of the Government of Jamaica where he was responsible for the fund-raising, promotion, and publicity of the diverse range of programmes and events in the entertainment arts, literary arts, culinary and performing arts, as well as the Jamaica independence celebrations across the island.

 

Prior to joining the JCDC, Mr. Davidson had portfolio responsibility for the communications, public relations and corporate affairs of The Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) and the Victoria Mutual Group of Companies.

 

Mr. Davidson holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Mona School of Business and Management and a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Marketing and Applied Management with a minor in Communications from Le Moyne College in New York. He is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honour Society and Delta Mu Delta, the International Honour Society in Business. He is an avid track and field fan and a lover of music. His life mantra is to make a positive impact on the lives that he comes in contact with.

Dr. Andrei Cooke, M.B.B.S.

Vice Chairman 

 

Dr. Andrei Cooke has served Jamaica as a Medical Practitioner for over 15 years in both the public and private health sector. Dr. Cooke started his medical career offering public healthcare in facilities such as the Kingston Public, National Chest, Victoria Jubilee and Bustamante Children’s Hospitals along with several other Health Centres in the corporate area.

Currently, Dr. Cooke offers his services as a Medical Doctor at Supreme Medical, a household named healthcare facility, he founded in 2010 that serves the community of Portmore and its surrounding environs. Dr. Cooke is also the Chairman of Greenwich All Age School and previously held the position of Chairman of the South East Regional Health Authority.

Dr. Cooke has pride himself as an Entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist since 2003; over which time he has established seven (7) businesses and invested in many others.  Dr. Cooke is passionate about uplifting the Jamaican people through the development of strong, positive social institutions.

Dr. Cooke holds a M.B.B.S from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Aliecia Morgan-Rhooms, B.B.A.(Hons) 

Secretary

 

Aliecia  Morgan-Rhooms is a Financial Advisor at Sagicor Life. In her role as Financial Advisor she creates wealth for her clients by providing customized solutions to attaining financial security. She has over 20 years’ experience in various facets of marketing within the financial industry.  She is a former employee of the Victoria Mutual Group, where she served in various capacities including customer service and group marketing. Her marketing experience includes research, product development, competitive analysis, strategy conceptualization, event planning, copy editing, and sales.

 

Mrs. Morgan-Rhooms holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Business Administration from the University of Technology, Jamaica with emphasis in Marketing. She also holds certificates in the Financial Securities Course from JIM/UTECH and Project Management and is proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.  She is a natural leader and has acted in various leadership roles in her career. She is passionate about providing excellent customer service and marketing solutions.

Antoinette Hamilton, CA, CPA (Pending), B.Sc. (Hons.)

Treasurer

 

Ms. Antoinette Hamilton is a transformational, forward-thinking and result-oriented professional who has garnered over 10 years' experience, having served in several senior management positions in corporate Jamaica. She has earned her professional prowess in corporate governance, strategic planning, internal business process improvement, risk management, and cost reduction. Antoinette is also known for providing business analysis and insights for sound strategic decisions.

 

Having served at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Antoinette has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in several industries including, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Tourism, and Energy. She also played a key role in NCB’s GAAP Due Diligence preparation for IPO listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 2011, as well as Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited’s review of the Citibank Treasury Management System, in Ohio, Columbus.

 

As an Internal Audit Manager and Acting Risk and Compliance Manager, Antoinette was instrumental in the development of several policy frameworks including Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the Credit Union Movement of Jamaica (jointly with KPMG) in preparation for BOJ Licensing, Board of Directors Charter, Audit Committee Charter, Whistle-Blowing Policy, Board Code of Conduct and Corporate Governance Policy. Her extensive work has positioned her to make sound recommendations for efficient and effective corporate governance for compliance with the Jamaica Stock Exchange and Private Sector Organization of Jamaica framework.

 

Ms. Hamilton is a Chartered Accountant and Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ). Antoinette has also completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualifications with the Georgia State Board of Accountancy, USA and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies (Accounting) from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

 

As a result-oriented professional, Ms. Hamilton dedication to her work will significantly impact any company she interacts with.
